Kaukauna VFW Post 3319 Hosting 6th Annual Golf With A Vet

KAUKAUNA, Wis. — Kaukauna VFW Post 3319 will host its 6th Annual Golf With A Vet Charity Golf Outing, bringing veterans and the community together for a day of remembrance, camaraderie and fundraising to help veterans in need, fight veteran suicide and remind veterans they are not alone.

EVENT DETAILS

This year’s opening ceremony will include a special remembrance honoring those who have passed away over the last 25 years, emphasizing the importance of staying connected, looking out for one another and making sure veterans know they are not alone. Following the ceremony, golfers will enjoy a four-person scramble, followed by a dinner banquet and fundraiser at Van Abel’s featuring prizes, raffles and a silent auction.

Over the past six years, Golf With A Vet has raised more than $250,000 for organizations and programs supporting veterans throughout Northeast Wisconsin, including Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity’s veteran home repair programs, Fox Valley Veterans Council’s Veterans Emergency Fund, Missions of Honor and Old Glory Honor Flight, Operation Christmas Angel, Vets & Friends of Wisconsin’s weekly meal programs, Wisconsin Veterans Village, and many others.
